As many people may know, my 5 year old son was recently struck by a vehicle on Gartmorn Road, the collision was a total accident and neither the driver of the vehicle or my son was at fault. However what was at fault was the vehicles which are parked on either side of the street restricting the view of both the drivers driving down Gartmorn road and children coming out of the park area. My son suffered a broken nose and a very big lump on the front of his head, yes he was very lucky as it could have been much worse! I urge you to sign this petition to try help prevent anyone, children or otherwise from being struck by another vehicle due to the overwhelming amount of parked cars on either side of Gartmorn Road!
