Garmin has released their new Fenix 6 series! This is suppose to be one of the most high-end smartwatches, fitness tracker, etc. that money can buy. The release has been slow as usually, however some people began to notice something odd. Some of the screens looked cheaper than others. Some screens had a distinctive blue dull hue that remembers any sense of a crisp screen. However, others are receiving screens that are crystal clear and have the best contrast and don’t have any hint of this blue hue, making it much more preferred. 

The sad part is, there is absolutely no way for anyone to know what they are getting when they order any of these watches, as we’re assuming different backlights or LCD light systems are used from multiple manufacture (they can’t say much because it’s proprietary) and randomly placed in whichever watch is put together next. We’ve reached out to Garmin and they do see the discrepancy in lighting, however they also say that, “Even though there is some variability from watch to watch, they all meet our design standards.”

Now your part and my part. These watches cost nearly $1000.00 or more US dollars. With this amount spent, we want a little more consistency over just “they meet our design standard”. We are petitioning to have the clean and crisp lighting from the LCD screen that everyone really wants put IN EACH WATCH! Thank’s all we want Garmin! We want you to listen to your family!
