Modern Warfare takes up currently at least 200 GB, with big updates coming that can take up to 50 more GB of space. The updates are mainly so big because of Warzone, and if you play Modern Warfare for the multiplayer/campaign, then there is no use for Warzone to be taking up useless space. Even if you played for both (multiplayer and Warzone) then you can download it to your Modern Warfare game as an optional download (almost like an add-on or DLC), but most people that don't want to buy Modern Warfare, don't have the money for it, or don't want to play it for the multiplayer/campaign, they will download the free to purchase Warzone, meaning that having Warzone in the Modern Warfare game is useless, unless you enjoy playing it alongside with the multiplayer. For example: you buy a new game worth $60 but the game comes with another game/gamemode that is free to buy on console or PC store, and it's neither an add-on nor a DLC so you can't uninstall it, but you wanted to play the main game that you bought for $60, if you wanted to play the other game that comes free with it you would've just bought the free to purchase game. You might think it's not that big of a problem until you find out that the free game takes up 60% of the game space you wanted and paid for, and the main game space is already large enough. And the other problem is that you find out most of the people who play the free to play game/gamemode, downloaded it for free from the console/PC store. So it seems even more useless to you for it to be with the game, but you can't get rid of it. Hopefully Activison will make it a optional downloadable add-on or DLC or just leave it as a separate free game. This would fix a lot of storage problems especially for people who don't have enough storage for the full game.
