Gameloft, ever since the Marauder came out, and the Black Friday sale last year allowed players to acquire the class for half price, the Marauder has been an increasingly annoying presence on the Modern Combat 5 battlefield. As part of the MC5 community, we would like to request that you heavily nerf this class.

Why? Several reasons. First, it's almost unkillable. 'How?', you might ask. Well, there's a shield that might as well be a free immortal core for the Marauder. It negates a significant proportion of damage, so that the class acts as a tank. Combine this with close range combat efficiency and this makes the class an absolute unit in the close confines of buildings or small maps like Rooftops. Please remove, or at least nerf this shield, as the Marauder is already overpowered enough with its Rate of Fire boost.

Second, it's got weapons that have Rates of Fire that are unparalleled in any other class. The Tier 9 Cas&Pol? Rate of Fire that's faster than the Grinder. The Tier 8 Hans&Gret? A mag that empties faster than you can blink. Literally. This insane RoF, while needed for the Marauder to fill it's niche in close quarters spamming, is excessive by a country mile. Because of this, accuracy is barely relevant, and all you need to do is point, spray, and get an easy kill. The skillset required for this type of gameplay is extremely low, and allows even the most inexperienced, noob players to hold a higher place on the ranking ladder than their skill actually is worthy of. A minor nerf to Rate of Fire should be essential in the next update.

Last but not least, there's a core that allows players to quickly reload their weapons. This needs to be nerfed slightly, as all players need to do is rush, shoot, drain their ammo in less than 1 second, before quickly reloading and resuming causing chaos. Obviously this is one of the factors that leads to the Marauder being one of the most broken classes in the game. 

Overall, the reason why we want the Marauder to be nerfed is because, apart from a deficiency in long-range capabilities, the class essentially is flawless, and has no obvious weaknesses that set it apart from other classes. Devastating at close to mid range combat, nerfing the Marauder is a must. We, as part of the MC5 community, look forward to this in the next update.
