Petition to give students at GHS something they’ve always been asking for: a singular window on the 2nd stall of the 1st floor bathroom. Ask any student here and they’ll admit having the same awkward story. You walk into the bathroom needing to take care of some business. You reach for door of a presumedly vacant stall only to find it locked and then hear either a slight cough or throat clear of it’s  now either slightly frightened or irate tenant indicating your wrongdoing. You now feel like a murderous creep and have to make the decision of awkwardly sticking around or just making a run for it. The only thing worse than committing this social fallacy is being on the receiving end of it. Having a window installed in the first floor bathroom will be a landmark decision and be the first step in  paving the way of a new era of reformed society within Gaithersburg high school. This window can be speced out in a multitude of ways (see renderings) from high quality blinds to redwood pains originating from the west coast. I urge the city of Gaithersburg to take action and provide a permanent solution for its students and faculty.
