Please could you help us save our local Kimberley Nursery school from closing. The Nursery itself has been open for 54 years but previously took in children of the Second World War in a childminding capacity. It has served many local children over many different generations.

Kimberley Nursery is set in a lovely area of Malpas (Newport) and offers a lot within our community, from the outdoor play area, the sand pit, the chickens, forest school, painting and minibeast hunting there is plenty to keep the little ones busy. The Nursery starts with the Rising 3s and takes children until they reach four years of age, giving the children a good start to schooling.

The Nursery offers a Communication class which supports children on the Autistic Spectrum and helps develop alternative communication tactics for the children. The Nursery has a Mission Statement  " Grow, Discover, Blossom " which parents feel every child leaves with.

Kimberley Nursery is a feeder school to our local schools which do not have their own Nursery schools attached. It's imperative to keep this Nursery school open as so many children and parents rely on the Nursery; closing it will negatively impact our community.

By helping us collect these signatures you will be helping  future generations to keep a wonderful Nursery School open.
