Gabi and Jules is a business located in Port Moody BC Canada,

Instead of actively listening to Autistic people when asking them to ditch the puzzle piece symbol, ableist / inspiration p0rn language and wording like "Must not be overly sensitive" in their job ad, they actively block the voices of the people they are supposed to help.

What we want:

-A commitment to remove all puzzle pieces from their business

(Puzzle pieces for Autism are harmful, and even if you are in favour of them - your comfort does not outweigh the discomfort of others. Their business should not be a triggering environment if they hope to attract all kinds of people to work for them)

-Rewording their website to remove all inspiration p0rn language so that it is more true to what the business actually does, without utilizing disabled people as a business and marketing tactic

-To rewrite their job advertisements to be less dehumanizing

-To ensure that the voices of disabled people who they are claiming to help are actually taken in to consideration while moving forward

-A public statement ensuring that they will make these changes and what they commit to do moving forward

-Truly making their business welcoming to all people, without having puzzle pieces everywhere

-To bridge the gap between Autistic people and their actual core values, while listening and actually taking constructive feedback in instead of blocking the people they are supposedly advocating for.
