Love Live is popular series about idols competing in a competition called Love Live, and its latest part concluded a couple of months ago. Love Live Nijigasaki School Idol Club was the most popular part of the series. Since Funimation owns the rights to Love Live Nijigasaki, it ensures it having a dubbed version of its new chapter is an inevitable outcome. I believe the anime's dub should try to recapture the charm of the original through voice acting and Ai's English dub voice actor having a Brooklyn accent.

Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters did the same thing, and this decision created the iconic moments through Joey Wheeler's original voice. This localization choice also stayed faithful to the original, showing off Joey's more rude and more informal side without removing much in the script. Funimation can apply the same solution for Ai since she talks in a casual and loud manner to everyone she meets. A small change can allow the anime to succeed in popularity as much as the original.

If this petition succeeds, Love Live will continue the trend of having astounding dubbed versions that are worth rewatching and bringing new fans to the series.
