Molly Wilcox started this petition to Fulton school board

We want to ban plastic bags at Crabapple Middle School in Georgia. We want to do this to save the Earth for the next generation one step at a time. By banning plastic bags we can preserve natural recourses and save our planet. As a school we think it is important to set an example for local businesses and other schools. Some people fail to realize how much we depend on the Earth, and how easy it is to destroy it. By stopping the use of plastic bags at our school we can sustain and improve our way of living life. We are neglecting our world's needs and need to secure and insure the Earth's natural beauty. Every year 500 billion plastic bags are used world-wide. Nearly 1 trillion single-use plastic bags are thrown away daily across the globe. That's nearly 2 million every minute. By cutting down the use of plastic bags at our school we can influence people to stop using plastic products over not only our local area, but all across the globe. By signing this petition you are not only saving Georgia's natural habits, but also saving the world one step at a time. Through opposing the use of plastic bags we can rehabilitated the human race on this planet (so maybe we don't have to move to Mars in 2025). Please consider singing and donating to this cause, not only for your children, but for their grandchildren.
