Make it not compulsory to wear school blazer and long trousers in the summer

This recent heatwave demonstrates the fact that the uniform policy needs updating. There is no reason that in 20c+ temperatures, children must wear a school blazer and cannot wear shorts. This is detrimental to our children's health and puts them at increased risk of dehydration. The school is failing in its duty of care by enforcing the policy in this unbearable heat.
With the new uniform being phased in, it is time that the policy is updated to include what can be worn in the summer term. Or more specifically, allowing the children to NOT wear a blazer and long trousers.
