This petition is to stop a rule of 'dogs on leads' to be enforced on Ightenhill Park. Burnley 

Responsible dog owners and walkers are being targeted due a few residents complaining about the mess on the park. 

The park, even with some mess left behind is one of the cleanest in the area.  By enforcing a rule to keep dogs on leads, will force more than half the users to boycott the park, losing revenue during fetes and other activities. 

It can be argued that dog walkers are not those making it unclean, fish and chip boxes, pizza boxes, empty alcohol bottles, youths smoking cannabis and vandals are all arguably worse than a few people not clearing dog mess.

The responsible dog walkers and owners would appreciate your support, stop the rule before it gets the light of day.
