At Hickory Career and Arts magnet, the lunch is not made at the school. In order for HCAM students to eat lunch our neighboring school Hickory High finishes their lunch and we get the leftovers. On top of that, there are two lunches at HCAM and usually second lunch only has one or two choices of food at most. If our petition is granted HCAM students will have fresh food and more choices so everyone can have a good lunch.
