Ubisoft as a company has time and time again been at the center of accusations that it has a culture of discrimination and harassment. These allegations include calling actor John Boyega a “monkey”,supporting an agenda of “women don’t sell” and numerous other disturbing claims. Many articles from many sources including Kotaku, The Verge, Gamespot, Gamesindustry.biz, euro gamer and more have covered these issues in great deal. No charges have been made so far and these are only allegations but in my opinion the sheer volume of these allegations and their seriousness warrants an investigation by the proper authorities.

It is not only these events said to have occurred that cause worry but also that there is supposedly a culture of covering-up. There have been 4 departures so far, that suggest concern, including Serge Hascoët, Chief Creation Officer Cécile Cornet, Global Head of HR, and CEO of Canadian studios Yannis Mallat and Tommy François, Ubisoft's vice president of editorial & creative services.

However despite this, no one has been fired and the most legal action taken so far is a lawsuit by French union Solidaires Informatique. This petition is to raise awareness of this issue so that more people take note of it and law enforcement in their HQ of France can perform a proper investigation which is more thorough than the inside investigation they have so far.
