Every day riot squads and police seize life saving, tents, blankets and personal possessions from vulnerable displaced people. Children, woman and men, have their necessary survival items taken daily, left without shelter and warm clothing in the coldest months to freeze. It is inhuman and dangerous, not to mention undignifing and degrading. Many of these people are traumatised and would not make this attempt journey if not in extreme difficult or dangerous situations already. 

Efforts are made by charity's to provide tents, blankets, coats, waterproof shelters. This is all undermined by bullying tactics. Children have been tear gased. One lost his eye to rubber bullets. Volunteers are arrested for trying to protect people's personal property.
