The community transmission of COVID-19 has gained its momentum. The numbers published by CDC is way below what is believable. And the number is low because CDC has been tightly controlling who gets the test, and no test means no confirmation of infection!

We all know how easy it is for viruses to spread through schools. In this case of COVID-19, children seem to have mild symptoms  hence they may be the secret carriers of COVID-19. Although we haven’t seen any cases in fremont, it is only matter of hours or may be days as we have seen in other impacted states like washington.

To get ahead of this, we request FUSD to close its schools temporarily. virus incubation period seem to be 14 days, so closing schools will prevent spreading of COVID-19.

We have seen many schools taking action after learning that someone is exposed. We all have parents and grand parents who are at high risk of losing their lives to this virus.

FUSD has adopted Google suite and google classrooms long ago. While we all agree Online class rooms are not an ideal way of teaching  kids,  given the crisis  we can try to adopt to this and see how it works. We can come up with alternate solution for the kids who may not have  access to online teaching.  

Lets take action now rather than waiting until someone is exposed. And lets set an example how we can beat this COVID-19 as a community.
