Problem
Despite the fact that one of the most affected groups of the NRA is public high schools (due to school shootings), our school has a display case set up full of NRA hats and other NRA promotional products like stickers and articles.
Solution
I think the school should replace this with a Danny DeVito wall. Danny DeVito has a lot of great films like Matilda, the Lorax, and Hercules. He is also against bigotry and the NRA, so I think he would be a better choice for a non-political wall.
Personal story
I didn’t like that our school was promoting the NRA because the NRA has made me and many other students nervous to go to school after we hear about school shootings and how the NRA doesn’t want to do anything about that.
