Right now, over 50,000 trucks are blocking the streets of Ottawa, Defacing statues of true Canadian heroes, desecrating the tombs of unknown Canadian war heroes, Stealing food from the homeless, and even going as far as to flying Nazi Swastikas and Confederate flags, 2 symbols of extreme hate that should be banished from the face of the earth, to protest emergency public health mandates regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our twice rightfully elected prime minister Justin Trudeau has stated that he is unwilling to remove these mandates for the safety of all Canadians. A spokesperson for the organizers of the convoy has stated that the convoy intends to remain in place until their demands are met. Not only will this torture the innocent people of Ottawa who did the right thing and got vaccinated and want to get over the pandemic to live life normally, but it will also block highways used by normal, vaccinated truckers for transporting essential goods to Canadians across the country. To solve this problem, we demand that the organizers call back the convoy. I, and millions of my fellow Canadians just want the pandemic to end and this convoy will only make it harder to reach this goal.
