Zandile Mafe is a Capetonian homeless man accused and charged with burning down the Parliamentary building: his charges include terrorism, arson, possession of an illegal device, amongst other crimes. This man has been FRAMED. The state wants us to believe this man had motive and intent to burn down a national key treasure. Upon the fire, the building had, reportedly, NO head of security. Furthermore, Zandile being a main suspect with no evidence pointing to him being the culprit is a travesty. The state has FAILED to release physical evidence, not even CCTV footage. No security, no CCTV, nothing, in PARLIAMENT ??? Seriously ? A black homeless man has been used as a scapegoat in a ploy to get taxpayer money. Following the burn, a statement was released saying Parliament was never insured. 1,6Billion has been requested from taxpayers to repair the damage of a building that didn’t even have security personnel.
