Mom and Dad, I know I let you down with those awful grades, which are absolutely inexcusable and I understand that.  To prove my comprehension of my irresponsibility, I stepped up and made changes. Including, joining Stuco and Key Club, as well as making all of the corrections to my work. I got moved to a more comfortable English class, where I will excel, which is what we were aiming to do. I also went to my teacher, and worked with her on my sentences and boosted my grade by 20 points. With all this being said, I would really, really appreciate you allowing me to attend the football game on Friday, which happens to be one of the only 4 home games of my sophomore year. Sitting at home while my friends are enjoying the game won't miraculously change the grades that I got, but stepping up and making the changes that I made will. So please, please consider allowing me to go.
