IN 1919 Shoeless Joe Jackson was sentenced to a lifetime ban from professional baseball for accepting money from gamblers and throwing the World Series. This begs the question, why should he be in the Hall Of Fame? Because Joe denied to play a part in the job, recieved an envelope containing 5,000$, told his owner about the fix, was told to keep the money, asked to be benched for the World Series, and went on to have the best series of any player on either team. It is clear that he was not trying to throw the series, and that he didnt want a part of the scam. With this near-undeniable proof the MLB still hasnt lifted the ban, or accepted Joe's name into the Hall Of Fame
