Pandemic causes lots of changes the way human live and the reason why the Government issued different health protocols like social distancing causing lesser commuters in every transportation vehicle. This is one of the reasons to have higher transportation fee. Even if the officials of a certain community issued to lessen the fee for transportation, I think there's nothing much of changes, because for individuals especially students think that it does not change the fact that the transportation fee is a bit expensive compare before the pandemic. And now not only the Pandemic is the issue but also the continues changes of oil price which is the primary source of transportation vehicle to move. Having this problems will not just make the students life vulnerable but also to the drivers that is working very hard to save money, and if this continue, it can affect students participation in attending limited face to face classes and other activities.

Limited face to face classes have already started and every students as well as their parents are affected by this.It reminds me of my classmate that chose not to attend limited face to face classes because of the high amount of fare for transportation.

This petition aims to have FREE RIDE for all STUDENTS of IRIGA CITY.This will lessen the burden of students who wants to attend limited face to face classes without thinking about money especially for transportation.

We the students of SAN AGUSTIN (STAND ALONE)SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL with the partnership of the LGU IRIGA are going to file this petition for the objectives:

To have free transportation to all  students.

To increase participation of students in attending limited face to face classes.
