In November 2020, Remedies Restaurant & Bar suffered the loss of it's alcohol permit due to unfortunate circumstances that occurred in it's parking lot. Remedies is being held responsible for the actions of a few individuals even though there was private security and off-duty police officers in place.

Remedies has effectively operated since 2017 as a staple in the Gaston County community hosting numerous benefits and fundraisers.

Multiple remarks have been made in regards to “the crowd we keep” and we strongly feel that Remedies is being racially profiled. 

Court dates continue to be delayed with no explanation and opposing legal counsel will not return any requests to communicate.

Gastonia Police Chief Travis Brittain refuses to meet or speak with Remedies business owner in any capacity. 

Remedies has suffered significantly decreased business hours, loss of staff and exponential loss of sales. It is no longer able to serve the Gaston County community as it once did.
