Free Quality Education for Everyone

Our mission is to raise the quality of life of underprivileged young people by increasing their access to quality skills-based education and fostering a favorable mobile/web environment that assists in achieving personal goals. Whether they face barriers such as a lack of resources, gender discrimination, or environmental disaster; access to quality education should be available to all people.
Skills-Chain will be a web based responsive education platform. The platform will give the users the ability to take skills-based courses either online or by downloading all the course materials on their devices. This means that as long as the user has a mobile device even with limited internet access they can still access the content. The platform will utilize blockchain technology to manage the security of the platform and to distribute the courses over a Peer to Peer Network model. Skills-Chain will be hosted on our shared server and will be available to anyone who wants to learn regardless of location.
This idea was developed so that we might encourage changes to the methods in which people around the world receive an education. We are actively working to create this platform to ensure that a safe educational environment is available and that the skills-based courses offered will lead to increased quality of life.
As our pilot project, we will provide the platform to the Aboriginal communities within Canada. Eventually, we plan to expand our reach and launch the platform globally while broadening the subjects we offer.
We hope that you feel confident to offer your support to our idea.
