My family moved to Apollo 4 years ago. We found a house we loved. With only one problem... No off street parking and a meter in front. I decided we would reach out to council... surely they could come up with a solution for us. There solution was to make us pay the $25 per month per vehicle or face tickets every single day. I begged for a cheaper permit...$50 a month seems unfair. 

FINALLY last year after months and months of fighting they decided on a residential permit for $3 a month.

The whole year past by... nothing ever came of it. Then they decided to remove the meters on my street.. YES! Finally a win, so I thought...No, they decided they can't remove meters.. whatever fine but to be honest the more I hear others opinions and the more I think about it...I should be receiving a FREE permit. I have no other option when it comes to parking. 

I already know their argument with this is going to be that if I get a free permit everyone is going to want a free permit. But I haven't seen one other house in the borough without off street parking. In fact there are only 3 houses total that the meters affect. 

I'm fighting this fight alone right now. I need a group of people willing to show up to a meeting and fight this with me. It's unfair! 

I'm making this petition to try to prove that to council. If you can't show up in person please at least add your signature to show support ❤️
