Oreo, an American Bulldog, was in in his fenced in yard one day, minding his own business. Two little girls came over to play with the child from Oreo's household.  The girls--in high spirits--were told to not play with the dogs that day.  The girls only listened for a moment, and snuck into the backyard.  One started playing with Oreo's food bowl. Oreo, exercising normal dog behavior, snapped at the girl--resulting in her having about 6 stitches around her eye. Now the child's owners are hellbent on having Oreo euthanized, and Oreo is being held at Animal Control until his hearing. The original media coverage was a typical bully breed witch hunt, with local organizations even joining in the breed hatred. We have started this page for the truth to be known, and Oreo's life to be saved. We all have different views and beliefs, but we can also all agree that this incident was complete human error. Oreo should NOT be deemed dangerous and up for euthanasia due to this.
