"If we don't stand up for children, then we stand not for much! The kind people treat children shows you what kind of people they are!"
-Anita Kanitz

“Anyone who does anything to help a child in his life is a hero to me. ”
― Fred Rogers

We all have families who are longing for peace in the world and an end to the suffering caused by poverty, disease, and hunger. Untold numbers of our friends, our neighbors, our parents, and our children, are hoping that there is more understanding, more generosity, more genuine friendship, and more caring among people of all faiths and cultures.
-- John Conyers

The ultimate test of a moral society
is the kind of world that it leaves to its children.”
-- Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Sarah Attia is a UofT Chem Eng Alumni trapped in Egypt with her husband and four children (aged 3 - 9). She and her family are trying to return, but are being refused travel due to Sarah's husband's involvement in the Egyptian Freedom and Justice Party. The party was democratically elected in 2012, but was overthrown in a military coup. Sarah's husband Khaled is a permanent Canadian resident, but returned to Egypt to help facilitate the end of the Mubarek regime. Sign to bring Sarah and her family back.
