Jose Alba is a hard-working Bodega worker in Manhattan. He has been charged with murder in what is clearly a self-defense case by the New York district attorney. He's being held on a quarter of a million dollars bail. The video is attached in the New York Post article in this petition. 

Once again New York has shown a complete and utter disregard for the rights of its citizens to feel safe and to defend themselves against danger. 

The politicians of this state and of New York City would allow criminals to run free causing chaos in the streets for law abiding citizens while stripping the essential rights of those citizens and make them criminals in and of themselves just for existing. 

It's time that we show we will no longer stand for this corruption and we will no longer stand idly by while our fellow New Yorkers are punished unfairly.
