This is the grossest miscarriage of justice I’ve ever seen. Joshua Cope is a innocent autistic man facing 30+years for someone else’s atrocious sins. Josh is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, he was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome as a young child, (the labels have changed and it’s all just autism spectrum disorder now) what has happened to him is not right, and the jury was not given context to his words or actions, and were not told he is autistic, which explains a lot of his “suspicious” behaviors, his “shallow affect” is from autism, not guilt. I remember when this all went down years ago and they closed the observatory, I thought there was no way they could convict him, because he clearly didn’t do it, yet here we are. He was not tied to one shred of evidence. They could not link ANY of the files to any of his devices… let that sink in. The only “evidence” they have is circumstantial, that he had access to the building during the times the child exploitation material was accessed on the laptop that was found, they could not trace the laptop back to him either... 

He was subject to an illegal interrogation where they locked him in a hot car for five hours with no food, no water, and said they “just want to talk” they recorded him without telling him, and used snippets of what he said in court without the full context. This is textbook framing. He said “There’s no help for people like us”, he meant autistic people, not p*dos… they tried to say that was basically a confession and the jury bought it. As you may know, There is an alarming amount of innocent people in the detention system. We can’t let him pay for someone else’s crimes. I am trying my best to do everything I can for him, I’m going to try to contact the innocence project and journalists like John Oliver, and we will continue pushing for his release and looking for who is really at fault. I’m 90% sure the chief observator framed him, so I think he’s the first one to look at, he is definitely involved.

I don’t automatically assume people are innocent because they are autistic, but this case makes no sense and I refuse to be silenced about this cover-up. Please, push with me for a internal investigation into why this case was dropped by the fbi and handed over to state police, (maybe to protect someone, another “good ol boy”, there is so much corruption) and why the fbi ADMITTED they DESTROYED EVIDENCE that could have exonerated him. Absolutely everything you’ve heard about this case is untrue. There is so much about this case that makes no sense. Please stand up for justice and fight this false conviction with us!
