Here in the Shoalhaven LGA we, like many other regions, have experienced devastation and grief from the recent bushfires.

As residents trying to maintain our properties and create safe fire zones around dwellings we still have to contend with no green waste collection in the Shoalhaven, and having to pay to take green waste to council tips.

Residents here have simply too much green waste and litter to recycle and compost, given the vast treed areas in our towns.

We ask Shoalhaven council to allow residents to deposit green waste at council tips at no cost all year round. This would greatly assist keeping our towns cleaner and safer in the years to come. Thanks for your consideration.
