The second has been broadcast in loading screens (The Invitee blockbuster skin is shown firing it up), tempted in the game (a countdown timer shown on TVs ends Tuesday), and extracted from data documents hanging around (showing launch pattern text).

So, it's arriving, but you may be wondering what does that mean for the overall game? Is usually the rocket about to become season 4's comet, teasing what's to come in season 5? Or perhaps is something else at play here?

One new wrinkle is the simple fact dataminers @twoepicbuddies are proclaiming that they have exposed something that suggests that players themselves should be able to kick off the rocket with the press of a button come Tuesday. Looking at the files, I'm not quite sure I am able to jump to that conclusion, but it could very well be the situation.

Fortnite has mostly shied away from map interaction aside from small things like the "raise the disco ball" obstacle, but this would be something brand-new.

So, what would it mean if you could launch the rocket every match?

We are going to still trying to determine out if the drive is a weapon or an exploration vehicle. Presented that it's situated in a villain base in the condition of a skull, my vote is weapon, of course, if that's case, I have a theory.

If World famous does permit the drive to be launched once per game, I question if it might come crashing down on the map somewhere, leveling an area.
Think that would be too out there? Well, as you'll try to remember, toward the end of season 3, we got literal meteors raining down from the sky, permanently destryoing through trees, buildings and player-built structures alike. I actually could see Epic planning something like that on the larger scale, only with the rocket, rather than a tree or a wall membrane going down, it's an entire part of the map. Picture all of Risky Reels being levelled, or every tree in Wailing Woods, or 50 percent of Tilted Towers.

Just like the meteor, this could be a random location chosen inside the storm circle. This wouldn't automatically kill everyone in the zone, but it would reduce all the walls to debris, so theoretically you could die from fall harm if that was the case. The rocket more than likely create giant craters like the meteor, but instead just shred structures like we saw with the tiny meteors at the end of season 3.

That's simply a theory, and based on the yet-unconfirmed idea of the skyrocket being launched by players.

But what if either players launch it, or it launches by itself (via The Visitor) and it isn't something that influences the specific match you're in?

That's where we get back into comet territory, and what could be that would allow someone to enter in season 5's theme. Awarded, I think the theme will be really hard to predict, considering that literally actually zero people (except leakers with inside info) predicted the superhero theme ahead of the comet impact.
