Edgar has been suspended from Westside Highschool for retaliating against bullies. He has received a week suspension, while the bullies got off scot free. This is an injustice that shouldn’t go unheard. Please sign this petition to hopefully let Edgar back to school, or at least have an equal punishment to those doing the bullying and hate crimes. Westside needs to wake up!

*Update: As of October 3rd, 2022 the school has suspended Daniel Magruder for trying to protest about this injustice via the means of posters. To my knowledge Dan wasn't substantially disrupting the school environment or invading the rights of others, and therefore has had his First Amendment rights infringed upon. Westside has no right to penalize Mr. Magruder for expressing his beliefs ever since the Tinker v. Des Moines case was decided in 1969, giving students the right to protest.  Mr. Magruder has every right to sue Westside if he so chooses. We must hold Westside accountable. #NoSuspensionOfSpeech
