I produced the BBC documentary about Colin's case and believe strongly that he is entirely innocent. I hope the CCRC will hasten their review of the new expert evidence and refer Colin's case to the Court of Appeal. I'd be happy to provide further information. ls@insidetime.org or call me 07528 44 33 35
A poem to Colin Norris by our friend Andy from Leeds
Andrew Jonathan Daniels posted on Free Colin Norris's Wall.
"Lonely cell
I think of you
In that lonely cell
Day and night
I wish you well
My friend you did nothing wrong
Fight and keep your spirit strong
I think of you
In that lonely cell
And words and stories
You can tell
Keep your inspiration bright
Friends will send you love and light
I think of you
In that lonely cell
Not exactly
A hotel
But keep the smile on your face
We know the law is a disgrace
I think of you
In that lonely cell
Must be like
A living hell
Sometime soon you’ll know release
Your heart and mind will be at peace
"
words from Colin FOCUSED Bars on the windows, that don't open wide Stood behind the door, that can't open from inside The sound of rattling keys, when staff patrol the landing My head spinning round and round, trying to reach an understanding Echoes down the corridors, the sounds they are so daunting Laughter hides the darker side, of silence, which is haunting The mask that I wear, to pretend everything's okay Gets harder to put on, day, after day, after day Anxiety levels going through the roof In the prime of my life, no longer a youth More time lost, for a "crime" I didn't commit Fear constantly increasing, as behind these bars I sit Support from family, friends and strangers, helps with my sanity Fighting my campaign, restores my faith in humanity The e-petition, website, and leaflet is what I see To keep me focused on the fight I need, to help set me free THE END
