Clarence Aaron was sentenced to serve three (3) consecutive life sentences for a non-violent drug offense. He was indicted, convicted and sentenced under the federal drug conspiracy laws and mandatory minimum drug sentences that have resulted in the disproportionate incarceration of black men for extremely long periods of time. Given the lack of progress towards meaningful sentencing reform, this is one method to effect justice for those who have been denied justice far too long.

Letter to
President Barack Obama
I just signed the following petition addressed to:

President Barack Obama.

----------------
Pardon Clarence Aaron and other non-violent drug conspiracy offenders

Dear President Obama:
As a person committed to freedom, fairness and justice I urge you to grant executive clemency to Clarence Aaron. In the words of the late Langston Hughes - 'Justice delayed is Justice Denied". Only you have the power to correct the gross injustice done in this case by our federal drug sentencing laws. Allow Clarence Aaron to return to his family and community by granting executive clemency.

Sincerely,
