Dear signatories of the petition Free Boris Kagarlitsky!

We have now reached 872 signatories from more than 40 countries supporting this petition. Please help us reach 1000 and beyond by challenging friends through e-mails and social media and movements. Do send a letter to the editor or find other ways to act.

All over Russia from the Baykal lake to St Petersburg activists are now plastering cities and countryside with the message Free Kagarlitsky and #borisisnoterrorist. Some get arrested for doing so. Others make videos in support or arrange meetings reading Kagarlitzjys text loud in a country were the spoken and written intellectual word is seen as important. You will also find cats on many photos supporting the campaign, as it is known that Boris loves cats. You can follow this work with the help of the Rabkor Telegram channel, the magazine started by Kagarlitsky. Nowadays it is more and more easy to get automatic translations of Russian text into several other languages so please get more knowledge of the Russian opposition to the war from a socialist point of view..

Many people on all continents are now supporting different actions and petitions to support Kagarlitsky. They include Naomi Klein, Jeremy Corbyn, Walden Bello, Pablo Solon, Yanis Varoufakis, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Anuradha Chenoy, Medea Benjamin, Reiner Braun, Erkki Tuomija and many others. But the strength in a campaign can only come from the paritcipation of many in different ways.

Boris Kagarlitsky is in custody for two months far away from Moscow, something that can be prolonged several times. He has support of a lawyer.

There is now a new possibility to support the work to help Kagarlitsky legally and his magazine Rabkor. Please make a contribution. (You do not need to send any promotion for this petition campaign which goes to the tech company running this free online service, we prefer that all goes to Kagarlitsky and Rabkor)
