Recently the city of Charleston has changed the rules for parking at the battery. It now has a 6 hour limit before you get a ticket. Alot of people who work downtown depend on the battery for parking to get to work. Some cannot afford these tickets or the tows. The city of Charleston needs to revert the rule to unlimited free parking to fix this as. Alot of businesses may lose employees at a time when most places are already short staffed because they will have nowhere to park.
