We, the undersigned, urge Saudi Arabia to allow Raif Badawi, a Saudi citizen, to travel internationally and thus to visit his wife and children in Canada.

We warmly welcomed the release of Raif Badawi in March, after having been arrested in 2012 and then sentenced to ten years imprisonment and 1,000 lashes, for advocating various reforms in his blog. His release is an important step forward.  But Badawi's wife and three teenaged children live in Canada and he has been prohibited from traveling abroad, so that he has been unable to see them for more than a decade.

Please, lift that travel ban so that this family can at long last be reunited.
