  • Being an young adult and being told that you can’t even see your own family, best friends, or even your own girlfriend since they don’t live in the same building as you is an incredible detriment to the college experience and an even larger detriment to mental health of students all throughout the school. Though we live in harder times, our civil liberties are being stepped on by not allowing ANY visitors to the school over a many month period and we were asked to sign our housing agreements with no prior knowledge of this
  • Allowing zero visitors In Bridgewater State University next semester is absurd. With all of these steps being taken to lower corona risk, we should be allowed at least one visitor at a time in our residence halls, this should include one other resident from a different hall, or one student from the school, or close family. So long as this person has been tested, can maintain the 6 feet of social distance, have been quarantined prior,  and limit contact with unknown people. Being in a room all semester without being able to see any of your friends, or family unless you leave the campus is not a viable option for all of us! And for those of us who have minimal or no room mates, this feels like more of a punishment to us if anything! Please help to take action on changing this new rule!
  • If we can get enough signatures here, Fred Clark could consider some new guidelines with dealing with this virus as far as revised visitation guidelines can worked out!
