Why this petition matters

Started by Caiden Wright

Alot of people, including me, beleive the council should expand the concrete section of the Langwarrin Skatepark. Many think this will improve our local area drastically. There is plenty of room, enough to add atleast a bowl and some quarter pipes.

One reason the council should do this is because many drug deals are made in the areas that should be expanded. Kids shouldn't be exposed to this, especially the younger kids that ride there. Expanding this will stop drug consumpsion greatly.

Reason two is that it gives kids that live in langwarrin a chance to expand their skills. It lets kids try new things which helps with mental health. This is really important because covid had a big impact on kids.

Reason three is because it would give kids something better to do than gaming. Kids will hang out with other children their age. It will boost the community of langwarrin.

This is why the frankston council should expand the concrete skatepark. It would lower the drugs being consumed at the skatepark, it would help kids expand their skills, and would help our local community. I hope the Frankston Council reads this and considers this and takes action. Please share this around and sign, thankyou.
