This petition is designed to get to the bottom of an underlined issue that many of us facing.  The issues are concerning the water bill in these brand new subdivisions in Franklinton NC; Whispering Pines, Cedar Crossing, Clearwater Creek and more than likely many more.  We have been experiencing enormous water bills thoughout the our short time living here.  Many of us faced problems with receiving water bills timely after closing on our homes.

For instance; I have been living in my new home since 7/30/2021 and just received notification of my bill on 11/08/2021 - due to a "system glitch" that wouldn't produce bills.  The bill that I recently was notified about (yet to receive) was ridiculously high without justification. I did not receive a break down of the bills; just one huge bill with a water usage that doesn't make sense for a family of 3. 

Others in these communities have gone out of town for upwards of 2 weeks in one month and the bill is the same from the previous month. Many many many others are experiencing the same issue.  Without this issue being rectified; we have no other choice other than to check our own meters (take photos) and rebut the bill once it comes in.  We are aware of the billing cyle - 15th to 15th; however.  We need this issue resolved OR I will be forced to take this to a higher level within Franklin County Government.

Please take this seriously; because we are and will not stand for these outrageous eronious bills every month.
