Students inside Duval County schools are being restricted and attacked by the rules on dress code that are being forced upon them by the schools and government. The dress codes that are enforced are sometimes racially and sexually biased, or it might be a uniform code that restricts students from being able to express themselves. These biases are created by the types of clothing that each gender is allowed to wear on school campus, which mostly attacks females. And It can be racially based because there have been some African American females that have gotten in trouble for wearing hair extensions and were threatened with being kicked out of school if they didn't take the extensions out. These types of dress codes aren't appropriate or equal across race and gender so they should be eradicated. Another flaw from Uniforms is that when students can't express themselves freely, school officials can't tell if a student might have a mental issue that might show through the clothes that they wear to school. This is a major issue that teaches students conformity rather than adaptability and should be stopped... FIGHT THE POWER!!
