Ever since Franciscan University switched over their on-campus security from Jefferson, extreme and unfair parking ticket prices have been incurred. Not only higher ticket prices, but the parking pass cost itself was over doubled from $40 last year to $75 this year! These are unfair measures to place on poor college students who have enough stress as it is. We are demanding that no parking fine exceed $10, that the parking pass be included with our ($40,000+ cost of attendance), and that the security company employed does what it was hired for, protecting the safety of our students. Not greedily charging poor college students triple digit fines to intimidate them into lining their own pockets!
