Change the FLHS Senior Hoodie

Change the FLHS Senior Hoodie
Why this petition matters
Quarantine has been tough, so many of our senior activities have been cancelled or delayed ... it's been a rough year. However, one thing that we can all look forward to is our yearbook and senior hoodie. However, when hundreds of students logged in to vote for their favorite hoodie, their popular vote did not matter. The popular vote (as despised as it is), was not selected as the final hoodie. The final color and message on the back of the popular hoodie was not included in the final cut. Why did this happen? You can clearly see the selected hoodie bear little resemblance to any hoodie on the selection. What we are being asked to purchase is little more than a personal preference of a random anonymous person in the SO.
We Francis Lewis students demand a re-vote of the senior hoodie. The one that was chosen as our senior hoodie does not represent Francis Lewis or the students there. The generic look of the hoodie does not reflect what we have been through in 2020 or just our culture overall. The message of the hoodie is ambiguous as well, "Wish You Were Here" does not seem to make any sense in reference to 2020 or our senior year. The text for "Seniors" is off-center as well as "FLHS" (which is shrunk and hidden in a large S for some reason).
This is not fair, Francis Lewis kids have been through a lot. We expected our senior hoodie to reflect our feelings, yet it reflected some anonymous person's personal preference. What is the point of a popular vote when someone else will just change the final look after it's chosen?
