Why this petition matters

Started by Diana Z

A senate report stated that food insecurity effects eight million people in France. In the Ipsos-Secours Populaire survey ("a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting poverty and discrimination" according to thelocal.fr), it was said that 21% of the people who took the survey said they can't afford enough food to have three meals a day. 27% said that they can't afford to eat fruits/vegetables daily. The majority of the people in France who earn less than €1,200 per month have trouble paying for their children's school lunch.
