“Metro Manila water consumers suffer under oppressive water rate increases even as they are exposed to health hazards by improper and inadequate sewerage. It is hoped that the entry of Father Villarin can help consumers get a refund and force MWSS to properly regulate its errant concessionaires.” - Jose Osias
It has been seventeen months since you joined the MWSS Board and from what I see, some PNoy appointees at MWSS are intent on continuing the malpractices of the Arroyo administration. There are documents now circulating that both Messrs. Alikpala and Esquivel have allegedly requested the President to reinstate the past compensation schemes for MWSS officials. How can that be consistent with Daang Matuwid?
Are you personally convinced that the present MWSS management is really being transparent and honest? Are you willing to risk that even the good name of the school and community which you head will be sullied by the ongoing anomalies being exposed by many sources and which no one in the MWSS Board seems willing to clarify?
Father, you’re our last hope that this issue will be faced squarely. With PNoy’s 2010 SONA expose, the BH report, the Committee on Good Government minutes and other documents it’s very clear that there’s something wrong. A full ventilation of the facts is needed to protect the gains the country has made against corruption.

Fr Jett-- engage us, remove our doubts, don’t give us reason to doubt an apparent collusion between MWSS and concessionaires with your silence.
DENR beats us in suing you. That’s for believing or hoping a priest, a MAN for OTHERS would speak up on behalf of the consumers and tell us the truth on the question we have long asked the board to answer.
Among the five members of the board, I write to you, as, being a priest, I would presume you understand TRUTH and expect you to manifest conviction; and as an Atenean allegedly a man for others, you would take action when wrong stares you in the face.
