On Monday, March 18th, 2013, Fox News broadcast the name of the 16 year old rape victim from Steubenville during a segment on the guilty verdicts on their show America's Newsroom. This came after a Fox News editor insisted the day before, in a note added to an Associated Press story, that they said they would not name the minor defendants - meaning, the RAPISTS - in their coverage.

So, this is clearly collusion with rapists, by protecting them and broadcasting the victim's name. While it was "only" her first name, in a small town that is often all it takes to narrow down the possibilities. The sympathetic attitude toward rapists being displayed is appalling, and it should outrage everyone. Fox News should apologize and make a $1 million dollar donation to the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence as a show of good faith that they will stop colluding with rapists.
