If you play Fortnite on Playstation or Xbox you probably have had far less kills, wins, and fun since the implementation of cross-platform play. If you think your opponents have been way out of your league in Chapter 2 that is most likely because you are in games with players who are on very expensive computers. These computers are equipped with hardware that gives them up to 4x’s the frames per second of a console. This is why they seem to be moving faster and are always one step ahead. Another advantage is that most of them play with a keyboard and mouse which can input commands at a very high rate allowing them to build/edit/trap/etc much faster than a controller player ever could. As epic implements skill based matchmaking to make things “fair” they contradict their own philosophy by adding one of the most unfair additions of all time with cross platform play.
