To deny the request for rezoning in Linwood neighborhood and continue to require all developers to follow the Urban Design Plan set forth by our City Leaders.  This plan requires a mixed use of specific housing types to create architectural diversity, maintain neighborhood livability and safety, as well as increasing the neighborhood vitality. Denial of this rezoning request maintains the intended use of this land and prevents over densification. Rezoning Linwood in this manner will lead to severe parking issues, waste management issues, exacerbation of floodwater issues , street impassability for emergency services and an unsafe environment for the residents of your community.

We want this development to remain zoned Urban Residential (UR) as proposed in the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The proposed MU-1 zoning will adversely affect the sustainability, safety and welfare of our neighborhood.
