Adding a gas station or any other business to the corner of Hwy 53 & Hwy 306 will be devastating for anyone who travels this intersection and those traveling onto Hwy 306 from Old Keith Bridge Rd. The number of accidents that occur in this intersection is alarming. As a resident that lives in close proximity to this intersection, I have witnessed a lot of road rage of drivers trying to pass where the road merges to one lane on Hwy 306 from Hwy 53. Those residents turning from Old Keith Bridge onto Hwy 306 witness this every day! It is common to see County's make the decision to add commercial properties and or large number of residential properties to an area that cannot handle the traffic in such high numbers at a fast pace and to not address the current traffic situations. This is our opportunity as residents, consumers, commuters, and taxpayers for our voice to be heard.
