The teacher in Kenya has been sacrificed at the altar of betrayal by the current unions that have instead of championing for the Rights of the teacher been in a cosy relationship with the employer who has been very keen on suppressing teachers rights. Teachers bemoan the following atrocities swung their way as the current unions sit pretty

3. Union slavery
4. Punitive policies
5. In effective health insurance
6. Corruption at the secretariat
7. Non monetary CBA
8. Lack of promotions
9. Failed to recognize further studies
10. Illegal deductions on payslips
