Hello, my name is Xenia Boiko. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine but, was raised in the United States of America. Most of my family, however, still reside in that strong,courageous, and beautiful country and the reason this petition is so important to me other than personal and humanitarian reasons is because I see myself as Ukraine symbolically.Please understand, for most of my life I have lived with Epilepsy. I have suffered through the physical and emotional pain. I have known what it feels like when no one wants to be on your side. You seem to keep yelling out at the top of your voice but, no one hears. They all turn their backs.I have know this, I have felt this, and I, just like Ukraine it seems, have grown stronger. Not because of how people acted but because in the end, God was on my side and made me stronger and he is doing that for Ukraine too. But, we all need some help and we can't stand with Ukraine while at the same time our leaders are profiting of Ukraine's oppression!
